A notably floral-inflected nose somewhat grudgingly reveals a layered array of spice, wood, earth and various red berry fruit scents. There is good volume if not quite the same mid-palate concentration as that of the Clos des Santenots, all wrapped in a sleek, vibrant, focused and moderately structured finish. This is a classic Bressandes that should flesh more out with time in bottle.
